Necklace with gold pendant Cordoba

Inspired by the Mezquita of Córdoba

I made this necklace with yellow gold pendant with inspiration from the rich Arab-Moorish geometric motifs of the famous Mezquita in Córdoba. Because of these motifs as its source, it is part of the Casablanca collection. The clean lines and repeating patterns of this impressive monument make a beautiful base for a handmade jewel white gold and gemstones.

Refined craftsmanship in gold

I hand-cut the pendant from 14 karat gold and carefully constructed it around a square blue topaz surrounded by eight subtle diamonds. The warm glow of the yellow gold contrasts the bright blue color of the topaz, showing off the stones beautifully. Every detail has been worked out with attention and precision. As a result, the jewelry is not only aesthetically balanced, but also pleasant to wear.

A piece of jewelry with a soul

I made this piece of jewelry entirely by hand and thus it carries a piece of the goldsmith's dedication and love. This pendant carries within it the spirit of ancient architecture: Moorish architecture was my design inspiration. By capturing this rich history in precious metal and gemstones, the pendant is not only an aesthetic object, but also a carrier of cultural heritage.
