The Solid as a Rock ring from the Bryce collection is a powerful statement in pure gold. Inspired by the imposing mountain ranges of Utah, this ring reflects the beauty of natural structures: rugged and irregular, but with timeless harmony. In this version, the ring is available in two variants: a subtle narrow version of 5 mm and a wider one of 8 mm, each with its own character and appearance.

Design and inspiration

The design of the Solid as a Rock ring was born out of a fascination with shape and texture in nature. The distinctive ribbed texture is reminiscent of weathered rock and layered rock formations. Hand hammering and working the gold creates a vibrant surface that catches light in ever-changing ways. The inner surface is polished smooth for pleasing comfort, making the ring feel both robust and elegant.

Craft and execution

Each ring is handcrafted in my studio. The texture is carefully constructed with hammer blows that create rhythm and depth.
