Relocation Baarn Werkendam – the studio open for handmade wedding rings and jewelry
The relocation of my studio from Baarn to Werkendam is now complete. The workshop is fully equipped and operational, and everything is running as usual again. From the workbench to the tools: everything has found its place and the daily rhythm is back. This new phase does not feel like an interruption but like a natural continuation of my work as a goldsmith and jewelry designer.

Current assignments from Baarn
Although the location has changed, many assignments are continuing as usual. I am taking some of the work with me from Baarn, including several sets of wedding rings that are currently in various stages of the manufacturing process. I am completing these projects with the same attention and care, now from my studio in Werkendam.
It is nice to see that continuity and trust are maintained even when moving.
High demand for custom wedding rings
At the moment, there are many requests for wedding rings. Couples who are getting married in the spring are consciously taking the time to design rings together that fit their story. In the studio, I craft these wedding rings entirely to order: from the initial consultation to the final piece of jewelry. It is precisely this personal process, in which form, material, and comfort come together, that forms the core of my work.
A first week in the snow
Getting acquainted despite winter conditions
The first week in Werkendam literally started off white. Snow, slippery roads, and conditions that sometimes made the shop barely accessible. Yet despite all this, people still came by to introduce themselves. That felt special: even when the roads are almost impassable, people find their way to the studio. As soon as the snow disappeared and everything became passable again, the first commission followed almost immediately. A beautiful and reassuring start.

First new assignment within a week
Within a week of the move, a nice new assignment came in from Werkendam itself. That trust so soon after the opening of the studio feels valuable. It confirms that personal attention and craftsmanship are also recognized and appreciated here.
A workplace that offers peace and focus
The new workshop offers space, tranquility, and clarity. The surroundings, on the edge of the Biesbosch, are inspiring without being distracting. It is a place where you can concentrate on custom work, repairs, and new designs.
A new chapter with familiar values
The move from Baarn to Werkendam no longer feels like a transition but rather a logical new chapter. Old and new work come together here. What remains is the focus on craftsmanship, attention, and trust... exactly as my work is intended to be!
