That’s why, from now on, I’ll be holding a goldsmith consultation hour every first Saturday of the month at Will’s restaurant in Nieuwegein.
An easy way to simply sit down together at the table to look at your jewelry, discuss the options, and, of course, have a cup of coffee.

After running my own shop and studio for many years, I’ve decided to reorganize my work. Of course, I’ll continue to create gold jewelry. In fact, that’s exactly what I love doing most. What’s changing is the way I meet with my clients. Instead of a permanent shop where you can just walk in, I’ll now be working by appointment. These appointments can take place at your home or at a cozy location like Will’s restaurant in Nieuwegein.
And since not every inquiry requires an in-depth consultation right away, I also hold a monthly goldsmith consultation hour there.

Actually, for just about anything related to jewelry. You don't need to know exactly what you want or what's technically possible. After all, that's what I'm here for.

Is your gold necklace broken? Is the clasp loose? Or do you have a ring that’s become too big or too small? Feel free to bring the piece of jewelry in. I’ll take a look at what’s wrong and discuss with you what repairs are possible. Even if a piece of jewelry hasn’t been worn in years because of a defect, it’s often worth having it checked out.
Having old jewelry remade into something new
Perhaps you’ve inherited jewelry that’s dear to you, but that doesn’t suit your taste at all. Or maybe you still have some old gold rings lying around in a drawer that you no longer wear. In that case, it’s good to know that you can often have them transformed into something truly beautiful. As a goldsmith, I regularly create new jewelry from old gold. Sometimes a recognizable element of the original piece is preserved; other times, a completely new design is created.

Have a personalized piece of jewelry custom-made
A unique engagement ring, custom wedding bands, a pendant with personal significance, or simply a design you won’t find anywhere else. You don’t need to come in with a fully developed design. An idea, a photo, or even just a sense of what you like is often enough to get the conversation started. I’d be happy to work with you on the design, the choice of materials, and the technical possibilities.
Restoration of cherished jewelry
Some pieces of jewelry aren’t just beautiful—they also tell a story. A ring from your grandmother, a pendant that’s been in the family for generations, or a piece of jewelry that’s become damaged from years of wear. When restoring a piece, I don’t just look at what needs to be repaired, but also at what needs to be preserved. After all, the character of an antique piece of jewelry is often just as important as its technical condition.

Would you prefer an appointment at your home?
Of course, that’s also an option! Not everyone is able to come to Nieuwegein. That’s why I’m happy to visit you at home by appointment to look at jewelry or discuss a new commission.
This way, personal contact remains possible, even without a traditional jewelry store.
Your jeweler will still be available
A different way of working doesn't mean my clients have to say goodbye to the personalized service they're used to. I still design, create, repair, and restore jewelry in my own studio. It's just that my interactions with my clients will take on a slightly different, more efficient form.
